What this means
Some pages on this site include links to Amazon — usually a “Also available in paperback on Amazon →” link on a book’s product page, for books where Amazon sells the print edition that we don’t sell here. These links include a small tracking tag that tells Amazon the visit came from this store.
If you click one of those links and then buy something on Amazon — the book it points to, or anything else during the same browsing session — Amazon may pay us a small commission. This commission comes out of Amazon’s margin, not your price. You pay exactly the same price whether you click through from here or visit Amazon directly.
Why we do this
We sell the digital editions (PDF, EPUB) of Dave Armstrong’s books directly on this store. For readers who prefer a printed paperback, Amazon is usually the easiest way to get one — and several of the books we’d otherwise have no way to recommend to print-preferring readers are available there.
Adding affiliate links lets us recover a small portion of the time spent operating this store. It does not change which books we recommend, which books appear on our pages, or how prominently they’re displayed. The descriptions, prices, and editorial choices on this site are not influenced by affiliate commission. Books not available on Amazon are listed and treated exactly the same as books that are.
What we DON’T do
- We do not include affiliate links to digital editions of the same books we sell here. Linking to Amazon Kindle versions of the same titles would cannibalize our own digital sales and add no value for the customer.
- We do not link to print editions in ways designed to confuse readers about whether they’re buying from us or from Amazon.
- We do not receive any affiliate commission from sales of the digital books we sell directly.
Your rights as a reader
You don’t have to click any affiliate link. You can navigate to Amazon directly and search for the book if you’d prefer. The “Also available in paperback on Amazon” link is offered for your convenience, not as a sales tactic.
